Mary Ellen Dougherty

Mary Ellen Dougherty,
MSPT, ATC

Mary Ellen is the lead therapist at Restoration Physical Therapy in Media, PA.  She received her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Neumann University in Aston, Pa and has been practicing locally in Media, Pa for over 10 years.  Mary Ellen's post-graduate work has focused on the Maitland approach to manual therapy as well as completing her training in the Graston Technique.

Mary Ellen is the lead therapist at Restoration Physical Therapy in Media, PA.  She received her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Neumann University in Aston, Pa and has been practicing locally in Media, Pa for over 15 years.  Mary Ellen's post-graduate work has focused on the Maitland approach to manual therapy as well as completing her training in the Graston Technique.  Mary Ellen's research has focused on treating patients with concussion related symptoms and she has completed extensive training in Vestibular Rehabilitation.  She is considered an expert in the area of Concussion Management and works with athletes from local sports teams.  Mary Ellen is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children in Havertown, Pa.

Zachary Tiongson

Zachary Tiongson,

Zachary graduated from Widener University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a passion for orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Utilizing evidence-based practice, he incorporates personalized therapeutic exercise and techniques to help each client reach their goals. Currently, he is training in the Maitland approach to physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Zachary graduated from Widener University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a passion for orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Utilizing evidence-based practice, he incorporates personalized therapeutic exercise and techniques to help each client reach their goals. Currently, he is training in the Maitland approach to physical therapy and rehabilitation. In his free time, Zachary enjoys going to the gym, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.

Paul Haerling

Paul Haerling,
DPT, COMT

Paul joined Restoration PT in 2021 after working in an outpatient clinic in Havertown for 10 years. He graduated from Temple University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2010. Originally from Washington state Paul completed his undergraduate education at Western Washington University. He also received his certification as Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (COMT).

Paul joined Restoration PT in 2021 after working in an outpatient clinic in Havertown for 10 years.  He graduated from Temple University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2010. Originally from Washington state Paul completed his undergraduate education at Western Washington University. He received his certification as Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (COMT) in July 2013, specializing in Maitland technique and philosophy. He also has experience working with chronic pain issues, such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) among others, and has volunteered in the Philadelphia region Ehlers-Danlos and POTS syndrome support groups.  Paul lives in Media with his wife and two children and remains involved with athletics and sporting activities with experience in distance running having completed full and half marathons.
